Payment Options

After completing the registration procedure, the following payment options will be accepted:

  • Credit card: Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover®
  • Check
  • Cash
NOTE: Different discounts apply to the method of payment chosen. Once a payment transaction is completed, no refund or credit will be extended.

Teen Combo Rates

The following are the the costs for our single rate, Teen Combo services paying by credit card, check or cash:

  • Early Registration: $429.75+Tax = $450.00 (14 or more days prior to start of class)
  • Regular Registration: $442.17+Tax = $463.50

Pay via Credit Card

Please follow the registration procedure below when making payment via credit card.

  1. If registering for a Teen Combo class, check that seats are available here.
  2. You can also check our Schedule of Classes page to see up to 12 months in advance of Teen Combo classes in PDF and/or calendar format.
  3. Fill out the desired online Teen Combo class registration form.
  4. Submit and confirm registration information and choose “Pay by Credit Card” as your payment option.
  5. Fill in the card holder’s name, billing address and credit card information and click on “Complete Purchase” and your seat will be instantly reserved. You will receive a payment confirmation via email.
  6. NOTE: Partial payments are only accepted by check, not by credit card. Our payment page does NOT process partial payments.

Pay via Check or Cash via Invoice

Seat is not reserved until payment is received by HDI.

Please follow the registration procedure below when making payment via check or cash.

  1. If registering for a Teen Combo class, check that seats are available here.
  2. You can also check our Schedule of Classes page to see up to 12 months in advance of Teen Combo classes in PDF and/or calendar format.
  3. Fill out the desired online Teen Combo class registration form.

After completing the above registration procedure, follow the five (5) easy steps below to pay via check or cash:

  1. Submit and confirm registration information and choose “Check or Cash (Invoice)” as your temporary payment option.
  2. Download and print the PDF invoice for your records.
  3. Click on the “Complete your Registration” link to complete the registration process. The “Thank You” page indicates that you have successfully registered. Your payment status, however, will be marked as “Incomplete.”
  4. Call HDI immediately at (808) 488-0001 or text (808) 306-9552 to arrange a meeting to make check or cash payment in person. The non-discounted rate of either $450.00 (early) or $463.50 (regular) will apply. A printed copy of your PDF invoice should accompany your check or cash payment. Make check payable to Hawaii Driving Institute.
  5. Check or cash payments must be received by HDI within 48 hours of registration or your registration may be cancelled. Once payment is received, HDI will then manually reserve a seat for you and you will receive a payment confirmation via email. However, there is no guarantee that a seat will be available as someone paying via credit card may instantly reserve a seat at anytime.
